A useful conversation does more than exchange messages. It gives the next person the context to move forward.
01
Give each conversation a home.
Use channels for ongoing team discussions and direct or group messages for focused conversations. Keep a topic organized without mixing it with unrelated work.

Threads for focused replies
02
Share the context, not just the update.
Attach a file, reference an issue or mention a teammate when a discussion needs action. Rich composition helps explain a decision clearly.

03
Catch up without starting over.
Read conversation history and follow a thread back to its decision. Separate notifications help distinguish messages from work that needs your attention.

A LITTLE MORE DETAIL
Common questions.
Is Chat the same as notifications?+
No. Chat is for conversations. Notifications surface mentions and work updates in a separate attention center.
Can I attach files?+
The local demo supports binary attachments with no application size cap for chat. Browser storage capacity still applies; production uploads need the approved storage service.
Does the site promise live multi-user messaging?+
No. The current demo is browser-local. Authenticated shared messaging and durable realtime are still pending the production backend.
